Through this agreement, of a non-onerous nature, the Parties undertake to collaborate in carrying out research activities in the field of:
- Atmospheric studies and limited-area meteorological modeling activities over Southern Italy: case study analyses and sensitivity tests; applications related to hydrogeological risk and air quality.
- Natural aerosol transport models: – mineral dust; – sea-spray – volcanic ash.
- Observations: in situ greenhouse gases and reactive gases, VOCs, aerosols of natural and anthropogenic origin from nanometric to micrometric scale (PM 10 and PM 2.5), solar radiation, remote sensing measurements for wind profiles and aerosol profiles.
- Experimental research: aimed at investigating physical processes, the operating principles of instrumentation for detecting, sampling and monitoring physical parameters, and the processing of experimental data.
In particular, the collaboration will concern:
- Scientific collaboration (participation in national and international research projects) in the respective areas of expertise;
- Promotion of education and advanced training pathways;
- Internship and training activities;
- Exchange of scientific and educational information and materials of common interest;
